Website Redesign for ASTPS

ASTPS.org

When I joined ASTPS I was excited to flex my marketing & sales skills, but the first order of business was conducting a healthy brand tune-up, immediately followed by an intensive website redesign.

The gauche level of our website was so off the charts that it was a comical go-to laugh around the office. So, on with the roast…

When sapling websites fall into clumsy hands they reverse-evolve. This site had adapted a multi-personality demeanor that resembled more of an obtrusive used-car salesperson rather than that of an esteemed organization of tax solution professionals. It was peppered with broken links, misleading calls to action, and no regard for branding integrity. My eyeballs burned when I opened it. Just so much no. Their systems needed a tripple shot of sophistication: order fullfillments, seminar registrations, membership database management – all of which relied upon fax machines and prayers.

ASTPS deserved a champion website that would accuratlely portray the functional standards in which they conducted business. But clearly this was not going to be just a smooth migration of content onto a shiney new theme and presto! kind of undertaking. So I signaled for help from a trusty team of experts, Chris Reilley & Rob Klingensmith III from Parkway Digital.
